Traya takes on unbeaten Polish foe in Poland today

RISING Cebuano prospect Elmo “Bisdak” Traya and his unbeaten Polish opponent Przemyslaw Runowski both made the weight for their showdown today at the Amfiteatr in Miedzyzdroje, Poland.

The fighters will fight for the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental super lightweight title.

Traya, a native of Tabuelan town, northern Cebu, weighed 140 pounds, while Runowski tipped the scales at 139.7 in yesterday’s official weigh in at the Amber Baltic Hotel in Poland.

Traya of ALA Boxing Gym has 11 wins, one loss with eight knockout wins, while Runowski is owner of 11 wins, including two knockout victories.

Traya, who is fighting abroad for the first time, is accompanied by trainer Michael Domingo.
