CEBUANO Elmo “Bisdak” Traya wasn’t successful in his debut fight abroad last Sunday in Poland.

This as unbeaten Polish Przemyslaw Runowski scored a unanimous-decision victory over the Cebuano to clinch the WBC Youth Intercontinental super lightweight title.

Aside from its being his first time fighting abroad, it was also Traya’s first time to face a foreign opponent.

After the bout, Runowski posted in his Facebook account that he has great respect for Traya, who he said was very tough in their fight. He added that he felt the power of Traya in every punch and that he considers that fight as the toughest of his career so far.

The 20-year-old ALA Boxing Gym prospect Traya now has a record of 11 wins and two losses. Runowski stayed unbeaten after 12 bouts.
