Canyoneering now clear in Alegria

Tourists can now resume canyoneering in Alegria town by September 1.

Mae Listones, Alegria Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (LDRRMO) chief, said the the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) trained 70 people as guides for canyoneering in their town.

The popular activity was ordered temporarily suspended by Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III due to safety issues last June.
