FOR THE second straight year, Cebuano cyclist Jun Duron once again put up a remarkable performance on foreign soil as he wound up second in the opening leg of the 2016 Asia Mountain Bike Cup on Sunday afternoon at Ranau, Sabah, in Malaysia.
The Talisay-native Duron, who finished behind Rapidino Race teammate Kusnadi Kusnadi of Indonesia, said that he was unable to take note of his time.
It was deja vu all over again for Duron as he ended up second in the same tournament a year ago in Timor Leste.
Duron and the rest of his Rapidino teammates will have a little time to celebrate as they gear up for the second leg which will be held September 8-10 in Timor Leste.
