IN an effort to champion local industries and propel its growth to greater heights, Worldbex Services International returns with the 13th PHILBEX Cebu 2016 on September 15 to 18, from 10am to 8pm at the SM City Cebu Trade Hall.
In line with its theme of “Uniting Strong Foundations”, PHILBEX Cebu 2016 aims to highlight the best of what the Visayan construction and design industry has to offer.
Made possible with Boysen, Steeltech, APO Floors, CIM Technologies Inc., and Wilcon Depot, PHILBEX Cebu 2016 presents the Projéto Furniture Design Competition. Open to all aspiring designers from Cebu, interested participants may join individually or in maximum teams of two granted that designs be rendered using Google Sketch Up or AutoCAD. The key requirement is a design for a wooden four-seater dining set in 3D format. In addition, the design must reflect the theme of “Uniting Strong Foundations”.
Also, participants vie for a chance to win considerable prizes such as P10,000 cash and 2,500 worth of gift certificates for the 1st placer, P8,000 cash and P1,500 worth of gift certificates for the 2nd placer, P6,000 cash and P1,000 worth of gift certificates, as well as consolation prizes and gift certificates for all participants. The deadline for entry submissions is on September 5, 2016.
