A 37-YEAR-OLD Korean was found dead in his hotel room in Lapu-Lapu City.

Man Seung Nam was found lifeless on his bed by a room attendant of Waterfront Mactan at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Hotel worker Vince Tumulak said he opened Man’s room using a duplicate key when the Korean failed to respond when he knocked on the door repeatedly.

The Korean was already dead when paramedics from the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation arrived.

Police said the Korean didn’t have external injuries or open wounds.

The body was brought to a funeral parlor for an examination to determine the cause of death.

The Korean was last seen alive leaving a casino next to the hotel around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

POLICE arrested a woman after firearms and assorted gun parts were found in her home during a raid in barangay Poblacion, Danao City, northern Cebu.

Police alleged that Wilma Beduya, 43, was involved in the trade of unlicensed firearms.

Seized from her house on F. Ralota Street were two KG0 firearms, several gun parts and ammunition.

The raid was conducted by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) based on a search warrant issued by Regional Court Judge Teresita Galanida in Mandaue City.

A GAS station attendant called the police after a customer drove off without paying for his gas in barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City.

Alfredo Tanoy, 26, said the driver of a Mitsubishi Mirage with plate number YBL-708 gassed up on fuel worth P1,500 past 3 a.m. yesterday.

Tanoy said he was about to collect payment when the driver sped off.

Police are coordinating with the Land Transportation Office to identify the vehicle’s owner.
