THREE persons tested positive for drug use during a random drug test held by the Cebu Provincial Anti-drug Abuse Office (CPADAO) at the Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) on Tuesday morning.

Terminal chief Joey Herrera said they have yet to identify the three from their list of names of those who underwent drug testing. He said they are still subject to confirmatory testing.

Herrera said he still has to know if the three are bus drivers or conductors as well as the bus company they are working for.

Those found positive for drug use during the confirmatory testing will already be barred from driving.

Tinuod gyud di ay ang mga estorya nga ni abot sa atong opisina. Mo ni rason nga ni buhat ta ug lakang (This only proves the veracity of reports reaching our office. This is the reason why we organized the drug testing),” he said.

Herrera said Tuesday’s drug testing was called following reports on the recent arrest of CSBT conductors in an anti-drugs operation in Barangay Mambaling.
