Coco Martin and Vice Ganda
EDUKCIRCLE Awards, now on its sixth year, has recently given out its first batch of awards, naming big media practitioners and entertainment celebrities in the show business.
Most of the awards were brought home by Kapamilya actors Vice Ganda and Coco Martin, and Alden Richards of the Kapuso Network.
Vice Ganda received three awards: Most Influential Film Actor of the Year, Box Office Tandem of the Year (with Coco) and Most Outstanding Personality in Comedy.
Meanwhie, “Ang Probinsyano” actor Coco Martin won the Best Television Drama Actor of the Year, Box Office Tandem of the Year (with Vice Ganda), one of the Most
Influential Actors of the Year (an award he shared with Vice Ganda and Vic Sotto). He was also elevated to the Hall of Fame.
Kapuso actor and host Alden Richards received the Male Artist of the Year award, as well as Most Infuential Celebrity
Endorser of the Year, together with Maine Mendoza.
He also received a Special Recognition for Phenomenal Act (Sa Tamang Panahon), also with Maine, for Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye.
The Edukcircle recognizes exemplary performance of media practitioners and entertainment celebrities in music, film and television via the Edukcircle Awards. Now on its sixth year, the awards are voted upon and affirmed by participating universities all over the Philippines.
The awards are given out in several batches. The second part will be given on Saturday, September 17 at the AFP Theater.
