Media practitioners and workers from Cebu are gearing up for the annual Press Freedom Run this Saturday, which starts and ends at the Cebu Business Park fronting the City Sports Club-Cebu.

The run, which is one of the activities lined up for the Press Freedom Week celebration in Cebu, will have 5-kilometer and 3K distances. Aside from the run, there will also be a Metafit Boot Camp Challenge.

To put some twist on the run, the organizers will be installing two simple obstacles along the route.

Organizer Michelle So encourages members of the Cebu media to join this sporting activity, which kicks off at 6 a.m.

The Ungo Running Club headed by Dr. Willie Estepa will be the marshal in the run, while race director Joel Juarez of Coco Running will be assisting the club. Coach Alan Choachuy and the Metafit Team, on the other hand, will spearhead the Metafit Challenge.

The sporting activity is sponsored by Cebu Holdings Inc., Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu Business Park and Coach A Metafit Fitness Bootcamp.
