No illegal drugs were found in a Greyhound Operation early Friday morning at the Talisay City Jail. However, authorities found drug paraphernalia – three lighters and two tin foil.

Talisay City Jail Warden Senior Insp. Josephus Jelianggao said that the jail search was done at 6:30 a.m. after Talisay City Mayor Eduardo Gullas requested that the jail be searched as part of the President Duterte’s drive against illegal drugs.

Jelianggao said he was glad that no illegal drugs were found during the search.

He said that the jail search was a joint operation of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) 7, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)7, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)7, and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
