Fish trader killed while riding with family

A 52-year old fish trader died after he and his family were strafed and robbed by two unidentified men inside their vehicle in Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu city at past 11 pm Monday.

Silvestre Lagura, a resident of Sitio Seawage, Barangay Pusok, sustained several gunshot wounds and died after being rushed to the Mactan Doctors Hospital.

PO2 Dan Palacio Gacoscosim of the Lapu-Lapu City police’s homicide section said Lagura, his common-law partner Leonora Estardo and their 14-year-old son rode their Nissan pick-up when they were shot by a motorcycle riding assailant.

The men forcibly took their bag containing two mobile phones worth P5,000 each, P25,000 cash and gold bracelet and ring worth P73,000.
