TO mark the third anniversary of Typhoon Haiyan (locally known as Yolanda), the University of San Carlos Press will hold a book talk and signing and a photo exhibit on November 8 at 5 p.m. at The Gallery in Ayala Center Cebu.
Written by Lucien Letaba, “Haiyan Aftermath: Images and Stories of Recovery in Samar and Leyte” is a commemoration of the strongest typhoon that made landfall in the Philippines and a celebration of the resilience of the human spirit.
In line with this, 25 photographs culled from the 242-page book will also be on exhibit for an entire week.
