A Biochar training workshop is being conducted today at the Social Hall of the Cebu City Hall.

Biochar is a process wherein agricultural wastes will be converted into soil fertilizer.

Environmental Management Bureau in Central Visayas (EMB-7) OIC Regional Director William Cuñado said biochar is a solid waste management means that could also provide additional income for the farmers who will practice it.
