CCPO to assist LTFRB 7 enforcers
Senior Supt. Joel Doria, director of the Cebu City Police Office, vowed to secure employees of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board in Central Visayas (LTFRB 7) and their traffic enforcers after some of them received threats from still unknown persons.
“Rest assured, we will fully support LTFRB’s operations. We share the same functions in implementing the law. Who else will help each other?,” he said.
LTRFB-7 Director Ahmed Cuizon dropped by the office of Doria at around 10 a.m. on Monday to seek support and enhanced police security for LTFRB employees and their traffic enforcers who allegedly received threats after their series of operation to impound colorum vehicles, or private cars and vans used as public conveyance without proper permits, including those operating under GrabCar and Uber.
