The provincial government postponed the bidding for the P254 million worth of heavy equipment Monday.

The joint venture of ConEquip Philippines Inc and RDAK Transport Equipment Inc. said they have not received any notice from the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) on the new specification prompting the deferral of the bidding to Nov. 25.

Other bidders were TKC Heavy Equipment Industries Corp., JVF Commercial, D Limitless Vehicle Corp., Civic Merchandise Inc.

BAC chair Atty. Mark Tolentino said they also decided to postpone the opening of the bidding since they only posted the new changes of the specifications for six days.
