Polish national rescued off Camotes Island

A 42-year old Polish national was rescued by civilian and military personnel after he figured in a motorcycle accident in San Francisco, Camotes Island Monday evening.

Baltazar Tribunalo, chief of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) said Artur Cronek was airlifted to Cebu City on Tuesday at 3 a.m. via Central Command’s chopper after he injured his left leg.

During 888 News Forum on Tuesday Tribunalo said Cronek was transferred to a private hospital in Cebu City where he is scheduled for an operation.

Cronek was with two other Polish nationals including his wife in Camotes Island for a vacation.
