A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout with policemen in Barangay Alegria, Cordova town, Cebu at around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Marlon Miano, a high value target, was killed by the operatives of the Cordova Police Station led by Senior Insp. Jomar Medil.

Police Regional Office 7 information officer Chief Insp. Dexter Calacar said Miano opened fire after sensing that the poseur-buyer was a policeman.

Recovered from the suspect were a loaded caliber .45 pistol, one medium-sized and 29 small sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and the 500-peso buy-bust money.
