THE Marie Ernestine School-North Campus in Barangay Budlaan, Cebu City launched its Little Free Library on November 17, in celebration of the Reading Month.
This endeavor supports Ayala Mall’s advocacy to spread the gift of reading. The Little Free Library encourages everyone to donate used and new books for everyone to read for free.
The Little Free Library is equipped with all kinds of books for all ages that were donated by the Ernestineans.
The launching was made more fun and memorable in the presence of Maribeth Mae Villarin, the school’s Education consultant who cut the ribbon and did a very animated and awe-inspiring story telling for the kids.
The occasion was also graced by school administrator Rosettle Dizon, and high school and elementary academic managers Marie Antoniette Castro and Leonila Ruiz respectively.
The school’s Free Little Library will last until the end of March 2017. The donated books will then be given to Ayala Center Cebu’s Little Free Library for the benefit of mallgoers who love to read.
Everyone is encouraged to donate their pre-loved books in Marie Ernestine School or at the Ayala Center Cebu.
