PHILIPPINE Team member Xyrra Cabusas and Clifford Tan were named “Bowlers of the Month” for December and November after winning in the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA)-PRIMA Monthly Open Tournament last Sunday at the Gaisano Bowlingplex, Cebu City.
Tan tallied the highest pinfall of 1,227 in the six-game series to be named “Bowler of the Month” for November while Cabusas, who finished second with 1,214 pinfalls, was named “Bowler of the Month” for December.
BTA President Bel Suelto Jr. claimed the third spot with 1,213 pinfalls while Ed Aniñon settled for fourth place with 1,209 pinfalls followed by Clarence Tiu at fifth place with 1,168 pinfalls.
Sixth to 10th placers were Luther Tapaya (1,160), Arthur Tapaya (1,142), Wilbert Yu (1,140), Maeng Viloria (1,072) and Boy Co (1,066), respectively.
The “Bowler of the Year” tournament is set on December 4 at the same venue.
