1st Toledo Duathlon winners

THREE Cebuano duathletes brought honor to the province Sunday by ruling their respective divisions in the first Toledo OffRoad Duathlon Sunday in Bato, Toledo City.

Nick Malon of Tayud, Cebu and Roble Shipping topped the 40-49 male category by clocking two hours, one minute and 27 seconds.

Edilberto Batiancila (2:02:52) and Freddie Perez (2:07:56) checked in at second and third spots, respectively in the same division.

Also bringing honor to Cebu were Niña Pasikaran of Liloan who snatched the 35-below female crown with a time of two hours, 38 minutes and 52 seconds and Lucille Ruiz of Consolacion who drabbed the 36-above female title in two hours, 56 minutes and 28 seconds.

Other winners were Jonathan Paguara (1:51:37) of Marikina and American Keith Defiebr (2:17:39) who captured the 29-below male and the 50-above male diadems, respectively.
