UC grad lands in top ten of Criminology exam

A graduate from the University of Cebu landed on the top ten of the October 2016 Criminology Licensure Examination.

The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday afternoon.

Wilmar Ilagan Puerto of the University of Cebu (UC) averaged 89.40 percent and landed at the seventh top spot alongside Johnreel Elipian Amora of the University of Mindanao-Tagum and Mar Dareen Delos Santos Dimaya of Laguna State Polytechnic University-Los Banos.

Taking the top spot was Christine Joy Almano Capalar who scored an average of 91.55% while Genzy Pastolero Llorito came second with 90.85 percent. Both are from the Sultan Kudarat State University – Tacurong.

Other topnotchers are Keisha Alyssa Brillo (3rd, 90.65 percent) of Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila), Almira Catonto Angkal (4th, 90.60) of Sultan Kudarat State University-Tacurong, Shenai Facto Juance (5th, 89.70) of La Carlota City Community College, and Lian Carla Luzong (6th,89.65) of Tarlac State University.

Ryan Christian Alday of Batangas State University followed Puerto at the eight spot with 89.30 percent while another Sultan Kudarat University-Tacurong student John Regnair Candado finished ninth with 89.25 percent.

Mahardika Institute of Technology’s Fatimah Al-Hambra Abdula Kalayakan was at 10th with a rating of 89.20 percent.

Of the 34, 768 examinees, only 10,901 passed the October 2016 Criminologist Licensure Exam.
