Home grown beauty and wellness center invested around P3 million for upgrades to remain competitive especially with the entrance of more players including national brands here in Cebu.
Ruiz Derma and Cosmetics Center, Inc. operations and administrative manager Dr. John M. Ruiz said they recently renovated their branch in Ayala Center Cebu and has purchased the latest equipment for their two branches.
“Currently we have two branches including Ayala and SM City Cebu. We used to have one in Marina Mall in Mactan but we decided to close that and focus on the two branches,” said Ruiz.
The family-owned and operated business was established 26 years ago by Ruiz’ mother Dr. Fe Mantua Ruiz who wanted to open a beauty and wellness center for the mainstream market.
According to Ruiz, their mother thought that the B, C, and D markets should also be able to enjoy beauty and wellness services from hair to toe at a price they can afford.

Among the new products and services that Ruiz Derma is now offering is the IPL-NV or the new version of the Intense Pulsed Light treatment.
