IN AN apparent slip of the tongue, Arci Muñoz has revealed that she is welcoming the new year with a happy single heart.
During the blogcon of her upcoming movie with Coleen Garcia and Jessy Mendiola, “Extra Service,” Arci has opened about her recent breakup with boyfriend Badi del Rosario.
“I’m gonna enjoy my 2017 single and enjoy my single life! Yes, mabuhay ang mga single!,” she announced last
Friday.
Arci and boyfriend Badi was in a three-year relationship.
According to a Pep report, the actress was asked what’s her wish for her 28th birthday this January 12.
When she shared her plans about her birthday charity, Arci suddenly announced about the breakup.
“I’m gonna enjoy my life. I’ve learned na I need to maybe focus muna na ang dami-daming nangyayari sa life ko. So, maybe I need to focus muna sa isang bagay, di ba?” said Arci.
“Napakalaking opportunity na dumadating, e. Siyempre, I don’t wanna miss out on that. Pero ang tagal ko na rin naman na kayang pagsabayin both, e. Pero ayun, we’ll see,” she added.
Badi is the son of Jefri Bolkiah, Prince of Brunei. He is also a lead vocalist of Filipino rock band, Mr. Bomes and The Boneyard Circus.
According to the actress, the breakup happened before Christmas.
“Since Christmas, before the holidays. So, alam mo yun, naging malabo na siya before that pa. We tried to fix it, but hanggang sa ayun,” she said.
Though Arci did not admit to the reason behind the breakup, she shared their relationship met problems during the shooting of the film “Camp Sawi.”
She also admitted spending lesser time with her boyfriend.
“Masyadong maraming work. I admit naman talaga na sa time ko rin, kasi I don’t wanna be unfair with him, though he’s very supportive,” she said.
The actress, however said, she and Badi are still friends.
“Malay nyo naman, maayos! Wala lang, ang tagal ko kasing hindi naging single, kaya ganun pala ‘yung feeling.
“Hindi ko na alam, nakita ko na yung mga friends ko na medyo na-shut down ko noong happily-in-a-relationship ako. Di ba, parang naging ganun na? E, hindi dapat ganun,” she admitted.
The actress said she plans to spend more time with her friends, and of course, with her family.
