A forty-five-year-old man suffered wound in the head after being shot by his neighbor during a confrontation when the victim fenced his residence in Barangay Ibabao, Cordova on Wednesday afternoon.
Jupiter Quirabo of Sitio Bliss, Barangay Ibabao, Cordova was brought to the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound in the head.
SPO1 Eleazar Llanes, the responding officer, said the victim was making a fence made of light materials parting his yard from that of his neighbor Joel Nemenzo.
When Nemenzo passed by the area around 5:30 p.m., he confronted the victim that resulted to a heated altercation.
Nemenzo took a handgun from his house and returned minutes later and shot the victim, grazing his head.
The suspect fled, while the victim was brought to Lapu-Lapu City Hospital for treatment.
