Korean national arrested for mauling co-worker

A Korean national was arrested by the police past 9 p.m. on Wednesday after his co-worker accused him of mauling her at their rented apartment in Sitio Son-oc, Barangay Ibabao, Cordova town.

Young Suk Zung, 32, is now detained at the Cordova Police Station pending the filing of a physical injury case against him.
PO1 Reynante Marababol and PO1 Dennis Valiente arrested him after his co-worker, Farah Mejorada, 25, sought police assistance after she was allegedly mauled by Young.

Mejorada sustained a blow in the right eye and bruises in different parts of her body.

Mejorada said Young had a work-related problem and she advised him on how to handle it, but instead the Korean national got mad, shouted at her and mauled her, prompting her to run for help.
