The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has shown its continued support to Cebu’s business climate by strengthening its relationship with the local government through its Adopt-a-Station Project.

The CCCI, headed by its president Melanie Ng, turned over another 2 Adopt-a-Station Project — the NBI roof extension that also serves as clearance certificate waiting area — to the National Bureau of Investigation Regional Office last May 23, 2017.

On December 2015, the CCCI has signed a memorandum of agreement with the NBI, Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines in Central Visayas, Peace and Advisory Coordinating Council in Cebu City and the Regional Peace and Coordinating Council as partners in enhancing NBI’s services to the general public.

The project was made possible through the donations from CCCI members and a non-CCCI member.

The project worth P2.8 million included the construction of the structural erection and foundation, (i.e., steel columns, footings, installation of trusses and roofing materials, renovation of door and window glasses, among others).

This will serve as a waiting area for clients who requested for NBI clearance certificates. /PR
