Saludar beats Amit via 9th-rd TKO in “Engkwentro Sa Mandaue” boxfest

FROILAN Saludar scored a ninth-round technical knockout (TKO) win over Salatiel Amit in the undercard of “Engkwentro Dinhi Sa Mandaue” Saturday night at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.

Saludar put on a superb performance and battered Amit in each round. He decked Amit in the first round by connecting a right hook.

In the fifth round, Saludar landed a solid right straight that broke Amit’s nose.

Saludar targeted Amit broken nose regularly and in the ninth, the referee decided to halt the fight due to the injury, sealing Saludar’s win.
