VINCE Paras of General Santos City snatched the WBO Asia-Pacific Youth light flyweight belt by scoring a unanimous decision win over Omega Boxing Gym’s Jimboy Haya in the co-main event of the “Engkwentro Sa Mandaue” Saturday night at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.
The three judges scored the bout identically, 96-93, all for Paras.
Paras downed Haya in the first round and took control of the fight from that point on.
