THE 1993 Dragons, the 1994 Bulldogs and the 1988 Barako improved their standings ahead of the playoffs after they came away with victories over their respective foes in Division 1 of the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference Summer League 2 Powered by Common Ground last weekend at the USC North Campus gym.
The Dragons bested the 1982 Dominique’s Classic, 61-56, behind outstanding performances from Bong Eleazar and Jade Ylanan.
The Bulldogs, on the other hand, crushed the 1984 Knights, 92-53, as four different players scored in double figures led by James Lu’s 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists and five steals.
Batches 1993 and 1994 lead the way in Division 1 with similar 6-0 win-loss cards.
The 1998 Barako are in hot pursuit as they won both their games last weekend.
They first beat 1987 Bro, 77-58, then logged a 73-70 win over the 1986 Waveriders to push their record up to 3-2.
