AROUND 2,000 runners are expected to answer the starting gun at 4 a.m. today as the 7th edition of the Hunat Sugbu: Dagan Para ni Maning unfolds at the Terraces Ayala Center Cebu.
Organized by Parklane International Hotel, the race features 21-kilometer, 12K, 6K and 3K categories.
The half-marathon has around 700 runners, the 12K has 500 participants, while the rest are in the shorter 6K and 3K.
Participants in the 21K and 12K races will be using timing chips for the first time. Finishers in the two categories will receive a medal while winning runners will receive cash prizes.
