Police raided the house of a barangay councilman in Barangay Putat, Tuburan, 96.7 km northwest of Cebu City, around 6 p.m. on Friday.

Drug paraphernalia like rolls of tin foil, sachets of suspected shabu and a .22 revolver were recovered from the house of barangay councilman Raul Mesa Cole Sr., said Chief Inspector Rolan Aliser, head of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU).

Aliser said they had been monitoring Cole for the past two weeks.

He said that the raid was a joint operation between the PDEU and the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB).
