THE ROYAL Brothers downed U Shape Up Gym and Spa, 78-73, in the City Hoops Season 2 – Talisay last Sunday at the Vista Grande Gym in Bulacao, Talisay City.
Jethro Gonzaga scored 13 points, 10 in the final quarter to help the Royal Brothers improve to 2-0 (win-loss) in the tournament.
Paul Torrecampo had 30 points but his effort was not enough to save U Shape Up from suffering its second loss.
Meanwhile, Team Princess and ASPA also beat their opponents to up their records to 2-0.
Three players scored in double-digits in Team Princess’ 87-69 annihilation of Filipino Homes.
ASPA, on the other hand, dumped ABI-Pascual Creamy Delight Yogurt, 85-69, behind Arnold Quilaton’s 30 points.
Talisay City Hall of Justice also improved to 2-0 as it toppled Aqua Uno, 95-69.
