Matsunaga who was in Cebu last Friday shared his upcoming projects to Cebu’s entertainment press during the opening of Stan’s Tinolahan + Grill at Capitol Site in Cebu City.

“Meron akong three movies now. Three movies are a lot!” Matsunaga said.

The first movie he is working on is “The Hunted: Spirit of the Glass 2” directed by Joey Javier Reyes.

Also starring Christine Reyes, the horror film is planned to be released during Halloween season.

This is not the first that Matsunaga and Reyes will be working together since both joined “I Can Do That” on ABS-CBN.

His second film is titled “Meant to Beh” which is set to join this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival and will have a stellar lineup of stars led by Vic Sotto and Dawn Zulueta.

Others in the cast are JC Santos, Andrea Torres, Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid, Sue Ramirez, and Baeby Baste of “Eat Bulaga.”

To be directed by award-winning filmmaker Chris Martinez, “Meant to Beh” will be produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Productions, and APT Entertainment.

Matsunaga’s third film is “FallBack,” which also has Rhian Ramos and Zanjoe Marudo in its cast.

It will be directed by John Paul Laxamana.

A fashion model before joining showbiz, Matsunaga rose to fame after winning “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): All In” in 2014.

Aside from showbiz, Matsunaga also talked about his love for Filipino food during the opening of Stan’s Tinolahan + Grill.

When asked by Cebu Daily News if he cooks, he said, “Yes, I do! Adobo. Kahit pansit kaya ko rin ‘eh. Sinigang … monggo is one of my favorites!”

Matsunaga is also focused on his restaurants and food business with non-showbiz partners: Naxional (a South-American diner),  Sobremesa (a fusion of Filipino and South American cuisine) and The Healthy House (a healthy food delivery).

With his busy schedule, does Matsunaga still have time for love? “Pray na lang tayo na darating siya para mas mabilis!” he said.

Matsunaga was in relationship with Kapamilya star Erich Gonzales  in 2015.

Both figured in a controversial breakup in February 2017.
