The Global Cebu FC remained unbeaten at home as it blew past the Davao Aguilas FC, 3-1, to regain the second spot in the Philippines Football League (PFL) Wednesday night at the Cebu City Sports Center.
With the victory, Global took the second place from Kaya FC as it now has a 9-6-4 (win-draw-loss) record for 33 points. Kaya FC has 32 points. The Aguilas dropped to 0-6-8 for six points.
Goal scorers for Global were Wesley Dos Santos (24th), Darryl Roberts (62nd) and Paolo Salenga (81st) while Harrison Sawyer scored the lone goal for the visitors at the 85th minute.
