Manito returns to action in Palawan netfest this Thursday

AFTER his two-title romp in Dumaguete City last week, Cebuano racket-wielder Gio John Manito returns to action this Thursday as he contends in the Palawan Pawnshop-Palawan Express Pera Padala (PPS-PEPP) regional tennis tournament in San Carlos City.

Manito of Pardo, Cebu, who bagged the 10-unisex and 12-U boys tiaras last week in the PPS-PEPP Dumaguete leg, hopes to continue his winning streak in the 10-unisex and 12-U boys classifications.

Also joining Manito in the 10-U and 12-U boys divisions are fellow Cebuanos Aaron Kevin Tabura and VJ Cañete.

Other Cebuanos who will vie in the five-day tournament are Carcar’s Elizabeth Abarquez in the 16-U and 18-U girls and Naga, Cebu’s Vhon Tudtud in the 16-U boys division.
