Talk on mothering a special child set

THE Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines Inc. (DSAPI) Cebu Chapter, in partnership with the Juanito I. King Foundation, OMF Literature and Autism Society Philippines (ASP) Cebu Chapter, invites women, parents of children with special needs, students and other professionals to a talk on “Mothering a Special Child.”

This will be held on December 1, 2017 at the Laguna Garden Cafe, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Malu Tiongson-Ortiz, mother of Clarissa, an adult with down syndrome, and renowned author of “Embracing God’s Purpose for my Special Child,” Ikaw na Maganda series and other books under OMF Literature, will discuss parenting a child with special needs, coping with the challenges, how to maintain work-life balance, and self-care.
