Prince Panes topscored for the defending champions Panthers with 23 points while Neil Buot chipped in 18.
Justin delos Reyes scored a game-high 28 points for the Lions, who tasted their fourth loss in as many games in the tournament.
The Tigers also improved to 4-1 after defeating the Turtles, 77-64.
In the day’s last game, the Stallions nipped the Cheetahs, 54-51, for their first win in the competition.
The Cheetahs dropped to 1-4.
In the Elite Basketball Club – Talisay Season 3 also last Sunday at the Vista Grande gym in Bulacao, the Stallions defeated the Tigers, 82-71.
Karlo Pacana, Sean Povadora and Dharryl Balabas scored 17 points apiece to lead the Stallions to victory.
In the first game, the Wolves notched their second straight win with a close-call 90-86 win over the Sharks.
In the second game, the Pelicans soared over the Panthers, 93-88.
