Netizens are skeptical on whether an air-conditioned passenger jeepney might work here in Cebu after a major transport group filed a petition to acquire 20 new units.
A netizen named Fabio Garnela wrote, “I’m not really sure if the Cebuanos will embrace that mode of transportation since considering at it is air-conditioned, mahal jud an siya (it’s expensive).”
Edmund Carolan wrote, “Leave the Jeepney’s alone. If I need aircon I can take a cab.”
While Dennis Busta wrote, “If gahana sila mo address sa traffic sa Cebu, mangita pud tani silag alternative na close sa jeep nya same ra gihapon ang plete (If they are really interested in addressing the traffic in Cebu, they should look for alternatives that are close to the jeepney yet charge the same fare).”
