Established in 1992, Trends has been a strong and active player in providing information and communications technology services and solutions to many organizations across various sectors and industry. Currently, regional offices are situated in Cebu and Davao and international offices are in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Having recently celebrated their 25th anniversary with a series of events in Manila, Trends has extended their festivities in Cebu for its business partners in the Visayas and Mindanao region. Last December 13, Trends, along with McAfee and Ardent Networks, hosted a grand Anniversary Dinner with the theme “25 Years of Bright Connections” at the Sta. Maria Ballroom of Radisson Blu Hotel. In attendance were who Trends believes are the real stars of the night, their partners: decision-makers and thought leaders across all business industries.
Commencing the evening was Trends Chief Operating Officer Renan Velonza who welcomed their friends and partners and presented one of the event’s highlights – the strengthened Trends’ vision, mission, and values. The renewed core values are embodied in TRENDS’ name – Trust and Faith in God, Respect and Integrity, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Network, Delivery, and Social Responsibility. Driven by the core values, the company aspires to be the trusted and leading technology-enabled business services company globally, providing long-term and sustainable value to its stakeholders.
Mr. Hasan Fard, Trends Chairman and CEO, was welcomed onstage to announce Trends’ new brand identity. Gratefully acknowledging what has transpired in the past 25 years and deeply appreciating the partners who contributed to its success, Mr. Fard proceeded on explaining the message behind the new logo. The new brand identity’s tagline, “Technology to Transcend”, captured, perfected and solidified what Trends wants to tell the world.
Serenading the evening was On the Cover Band and world-class Cebuana singer Anna Fegi-Brown. Capping off the eventful evening was a commemorative toast with the CEO expressing the direction he wishes this new brand identity would take the company.
