DON’T BAN HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS
Netizens didn’t approve of Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña’s suggestion to limit the height of buildings following the fire in Metro Ayala.
A netizen named Edwin Alferez wrote: “Equip firefighters with modern technology. Not ban high rise bldgs. I’ve never heard anywhere in the world na ban ang highrise bldgs. Only in Cebu, kataw-anan (laughable).”
Washi Yamamoto said: “Your move is counterproductive to the city. it would be best to make sure the city is equipped and ready to adapt to changes.”
While Jam Rena wrote: “Our firefighters are already doing their best, but they can do more with the right equipment.”
