FOUR Cebuano triathletes are among the nominees in the 5th annual SwimBikeRun.PH awards.
They are Rider Omega Pro Triathlon team’s Karen Andrea Manayon, Andrew Kim Remolino, and Moira Frances Erediano, and Cebuana multi-titled duathlete Miscelle Gilbuena.
The date and venue for this year’s annual awards has yet to be announced.
The SBR.PH Awards is all about recognizing the best of the best multisport athletes of the country.
Manayon and Erediano are both nominated for the “Female Youth Triathlete of the Year” award along with Angel Faith Quidasol, Lauren Justine Plaza, and Samantha Borlain while Remolino is nominated for the “Male Youth Triathlete of the Year” along with Juan Francis Baniqued, Juan Miguel Tayag, Josh Ramos and Marcus Faytaren.
Gilbuena is nominated for the “Female Duathlete of the Year” award along with Mirasol Abad, Rowena Valdez and Jelsie Sabado.
Cebu-based Rider Omega Pro Tri Team is also nominated for the “Triathlon Team of the Year” award along with Fit PH, Sante Barley, De Rosa-Corsa Team and Team norman-Intellicare.
There are also notable triathletes who are members of the Rider Omega Pro Tri Team who were nominated such as Paul Jumamil and Banjo Norte for the “Male Elite Triathlete of the Year” and Maria Hodges for the “Female Elite Triathlete of the Year.”
