Radaza lauds enforcer for arrest of erring barangay official

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza acknowledged the traffic and police personnel who apprehended a Barangay captain for violating traffic rules.

Radaza said that she will give a reward to the traffic enforcer who bravely apprehended Pangan-an island Barangay captain Virgilio Casiao for not wearing a helmet.

“Siguradong makadawat gyud og tag P5,000 ang nakadakop niya,” said Radaza (Those who apprehended him will definitely receive P5,000 each)

Radaza also received a report that the Barangay captain was apprehended twice for the same violation.

The City’s Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) is also requesting for 12 additional manpower to manage the city’s worsening traffic situation.
