A LENDING firm in Toledo City lost P20,000 in cash and a cellphone after a burglar managed to enter its office on Thursday in Barangay Sangi, Toledo City.
Fast Cash Finance Co. Inc. said the burglar entered by destroying the padlock on the office door at the T.E. Building and took the money placed in a box inside the office, said SPO3 Carlos Barluado of the Toledo Police Station.
Barluado said that Jessie Tolentino, officer in charge, who was staying at the adjacent room of the office reported the burglary to the police.
Tolentino claimed that he heard some noise inside the office at 4:30 a.m. and when he checked he saw the padlock of the main door of the office already destroyed.
Barluado said that they would check if the office had a security camera so that they could find out the identity of the burglar.
