The SM Foundation continues to dispense medical and dental services to communities around SM malls in Cebu to show care to the people it serves.
Last March 14, 1,000 patients from the different barangays in Cebu City north district availed of free medical and dental services provided by the Cebu City Health Department and partner doctors at the covered parking of SM City Cebu.
And on March 15, more than 1,000 patients from the Cebu City south district received free medical and dental care during the medical mission held in SM Seaside City Cebu.
The patients were identified by the Department of Social Welfare and Services through the efforts of department head Lea Japson.
Aside from the medical and dental services, patients also availed of free x-ray, ECG, sugar test, cholesterol test, uric acid test, and free medicines and vitamins. Patients who needed more checkups were immediately referred to hospitals.
