Building a lasting stronghold for your business

Dr. Brian To

Like the Great Wall of China which stands for over 700 years as a symbol of strength and power for its citizens, one’s business is of great value which many rely on. One’s business needs to be protected and maintained, and one of the best ways to do it is to build a lasting stronghold that will stand the test of time. The key to this is to learn a powerful strategy from an expert.

Driven by his passion to train and bring out the best in every professional individual, consultant and adviser for global private management and professor of leadership and strategy Brian To will be coaching the three-part Strategic Leadership and Management Program (SLAMP). Now on its second program, the workshop slated on May 25 will be focusing on Behavioural Design and Strategy Development and its relevance in today’s business environment. This will be happening at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.

The program will focus on Competitive Strategy Formulation, Development, and Execution, and engage the importance of Strategy Implementation and Execution in the context of global hyper-competition. It will utilize case studies, group work, individual study, lectures, video, presentations, and instrumentation to further advance business goals at a globally competitive level and address different challenges in the business’ undertakings.

SLAMP began as a series of seminars for not-for-profit and military organizations in the last 20 years in the Philippines and within Asia. It answered a huge need to access advanced strategy and leadership programs which were only taught in the United States and usually entailed an investment of 1,000 to 2,000 US Dollars per day and a maximum of five days in duration. With SLAMP, both Filipino and other Asian entrepreneurs, managers, CEOs, corporate professionals, technical staff, early stage contributors and individuals engaged in strategies for their own or for other companies can now learn the programs at a lesser rate and a shorter pace with the same knowledge base.

“My aim for SLAMP is to coach with a heart and inspire candidates to achieve higher levels of personal and professional performance,” said To.

Coaching, which has been To’s work for the past 25 years, was practiced in the ancient times for national policy issues, battles, and warfare and recently for the personal and professional effectiveness of country and corporate leaders.

“Coaching has become increasingly popular but also necessary for perpetual changes and hyper-competition in every corner of the world. I’m privileged to support leaders and clients throughout the globe who mostly have a growth agenda and view to managing the future for market-establishing position and probability-thrown strategy and leadership,” added To.

As a corporate coach who empowers other professionals, he invites business leaders to do the same thing as he does. To will train business leaders in assessing institutions and preparing for interviews all the way to life coaching.

“Initially in the program, there is an assessment wherein the focus is on the desired outcome, gap analysis, attitude preparedness, and possible roadblocks to success and effectiveness. Following the assessment will be the creation of a basic roadmap which will be revised along the coaching journey to accommodate changes and developments in one’s business model,” said To.

SLAMP program fees are at P6,000 for regular or onsite registration and P5,000 for a group of three or more.

For inquiries and registration, one may message SLAMP’s program beneficiary, SimplyShare Foundation Inc. on Facebook or call (032) 417 3322 / ‭(0906) 413 0095‬.
