Yamaha Grand Prix Cebu Leg revs off at SM City Cebu

IT’S ALL systems go for the much-awaited Yamaha Grand Prix (YGP) Cebu Leg, which unfolds today at the spacious open parking area of SM City Cebu at the North Reclamation Area.

Around 30 of the best underbone riders in the country will compete in different categories.

There are three Cebuano riders who will represent team Visayas in the YGP 150CC Open Underbone Season Championship. These are Jaycob Cabahug, Garry Caneda and Simon Solon. They will go up against riders from Luzon and Mindanao.

Team Luzon will be composed of Masato Fernando Mckinley Kyle Paz and J.E Inguito.

Aside from the YPG 150CC Open category, there will also be an all-female, expert and intermediate categories, sniper 150, 160 automatic open, 115/130 underbone open and the dealer fun race categories.

The winning riders in the above-mentioned categories will win cash prizes.

The champions get P10,000 while the second placers go home with P5,000. Third placers will win P3,000.
