Two men arrested by the police for stealing cash, goods from convenience store

Two men were arrested by the police for stealing cash and items from a convenience store in Barangay Poblacion, Minglanilla town on Friday (June 1).

Chief Insp. Verniño Noserale of Minglanilla Police identified the suspects as Nonito Rico, 20 and John Tecson, 19.

Noserale said that Biverly Arellano, the owner of the convenience store, immediately reported the incident to Minglanilla Police Station.

Rico and Tecson took the sales cash amounting to P12,000 as well as assorted milk products and cigarettes worth P36,550.

Arresting officers recovered the money and packs of cigarettes.

The suspects are temporarily detained at the Minglanilla Precinct pending for the filing of charges against them.
