Osmeña slams Fernando for planning to divert Cebu’s funds for Manila
BRT Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña slammed the move of Marikina Rep. Bayani Fernando in asking the House of Representatives to transfer the funds for the BRT project in Cebu City to the BRT project in Metro Manila.
Osmeña said the plan will likely happen especially with Mike Dino doing his best to cancel the BRT project.
Osmeña, however, remained optimistic that the BRT project in Cebu City will push through.
Fernando said it is better to use the BRT funds for Cebu for the BRT project in Edsa and Commonwealth Avenue in Manila since they have wider roads compared to Cebu City which has narrow roads.
