Espina takes oath as Cebu City’s councilor

Newly-appointed Cebu City Councilor Erik Miguel Espina took his oath at the Court of Appeals-Cebu Station, Banawa, Cebu City on Monday morning (July 9).

Espina, who is affiliated with Barug Team Rama, was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as replacement of James Anthony Cuenco, who was earlier dismissed from public service by the Office of the Ombudsman.

The new councilor is the youngest son of former Senator and Cebu Governor Rene Espina.
