DOH-7 to offer free X-ray for patients with suspected TB
The Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7) will be offering free X-ray procedures to patients with suspected tuberculosis through its voucher program.
Carlo Wyne Brillantes of DOH-7 said each voucher worth P400 can be used in availaing the procedure in their accredited private hospitals.
The voucher will be available to TB-DOTS Center and Rural Health Units (RHUs) in different local government units (LGUs) by next week.
Brillantes, however, clarified that they will be prioritizing indigent patients.
